CERTIFIED TRAINERS
At Regency Lighting, we strive to make lighting easy for our customers. And we believe a big part of the customer experience is traced back to the way we equip our employees with knowledge, resources, and the opportunity to succeed. This starts on day one for our teams, as they begin their journey through the School of Lighting. We have a team of Certified Trainers in Los Angeles and Atlanta who partner with our new employees as they trek through the school, where employees master lighting’s complexity and learn how to make it easier for customers.
What it takes to be a Certified Trainer
Our Certified Trainer team spends numerous hours observing, researching, and practicing to become trainers for each subject matter they certify in. This process is on top of their day-to-day responsibilities. It is a voluntary commitment that demonstrates our team's dedication and hard work.
Becoming a Regency Certified Trainer means that the individual has met our criteria for excellence in presentation, communication, and product knowledge. Each of our trainers go through a self-evaluation to continually improve their expertise and skills, even after they have become certified.
As the lighting industry is constantly changing, our team maintains a posture of teachability to ensure they’re agile enough to evolve with industry updates.
The foundational characteristic that makes our Certified Trainer team successful is servant leadership. Our team has shown the ability to practice empathy, listen, coach, lead, and encourage our employees. Each of our trainers are servants at heart and leaders in action.
